Thank you for your interest in the Greater Cincinnati Schutzhund Club. I have enjoyed a love and passion for the German Shepherd Dog and the sport of Schutzhund since the 1970s. We welcome your visit, and will be happy to provide you with any additional information.
History -
I founded the Greater Cincinnati Schutzhund Club in 1982 and continue to serve as Training Director. Our training focus is working line German Shepherd Dogs in K9 police service, Schutzhund, protection and search & rescue. I currently serve as canine consultant and evaluator to the Covington (KY) Police Department and the Boone County (KY) Sheriff’s Department.
My experience spans over 30 years:- Trained 3 GSD to Schutzhund 3 club
- Trained 2 GSD to FH
- Trained 1 GSD to RH1 and DPO
- Certified two GSD K9s to PD2 as member of USPCA
- Competed in 5 national events
- 2 terms as USA Mid-Eastern Region Assistant Director
- Former member USA Police K9 Committee
- Trained K9 teams in Northern Kentucky – Taylor Mill PD, Erlanger PD, Florence PD, Independence PD, Covington PD, Boone County PD, and Boone County Sheriff’s Department

Directions from I-75 to the club schutzhund field
EXIT 166 off I-75
If you are coming from the South then take a RIGHT off exit 166.
If you are coming from the North then take a LEFT off exit 166.
After you turn off exit ramp, go approximately 0.8 miles to U.S. 25
TURN RIGHT onto U.S. 25 and continue for 1.0 mile
TURN LEFT onto GARDNERSVILLE ROAD, cross over railroad tracks
Continue for 0.1 mile, club grounds will be on your LEFT
